1. What are dice flashcard inserts?

Dice flashcard inserts are small, interchangeable, themed picture cards that fit perfectly into reusable foam pocket learning dice. They turn any roll into a fun and interactive learning game for both children and adults. They are also multi- purpose as they can be used as stand-alone flashcards , this means they can be used to create other games such as:

Although primarily designed for preschool and early years children (ages 2–6), they have been very successful with older children and young adults for vocabulary, storytelling, and group play.  You can even adapt your own inserts for adults to just play games at home

4. How do dice inserts work?

5. What size are the inserts?

Each insert is designed to fit standard 10cm x 10cm (4inch) foam pocket dice.

6. Do I need to buy special dice?

Yes — You’ll need clear pocket foam learning dice (also called picture cubes). These are available in our shop to buy and can be reused with all our themed insert sets.

However, although the dice are a far more exciting addition to playing the activity games and taking part, all flashcards can be used on their own in the more traditional sense by picking a card a random, playing picture pair games and for language building!

7. Are these flashcard inserts digital or physical products?

All dice flashcard insert sets are digital downloads (via PDF), so you can receive them instantly from purchase, then simply print them at home or at your setting as many times as you like to create the physical flashcards.

We highly recommend laminating them once cut out and if possible, printing them out on white card for the best durability.

No physical flashcard products are shipped.

8. Can I laminate the inserts?

Yes! Laminating is highly recommended as it makes them more durable — perfect for 1:1, classroom or group use. Just make sure to trim them to size after laminating so they still fit neatly into your dice.

9. Are these inserts compatible with all dice brands?

No – we always recommend that you check your dice dimensions before purchase or you can buy dice directly from our shop.

10. Can I print the inserts in black and white?

Yes, you can print in black and white, however the colour versions are recommended for best visual engagement and attention from our experience.

• Once the payment is confirmed you will immediately see a ‘ Thanks for your order’ page displayed & you can now start to download your flashcard pack PDFs.
• You will also receive an order confirmation email shortly after where you can also instantly download your flashcard pack PDFs.

15. How do I download my files after purchase?

    Immediately after purchase, on your ‘Order Confirmation’ you’ll receive an instant download link to your files.

    You can download your PDFs and save them to your device to print off anytime in the future.

    However, the download link will expire 90 days from the purchase date so please download your PDFs before the 90 days expires

16. How many times can I use the PDF??

Absolutely! In addition to home use, these resources are perfect for teachers, speech therapists, support workers and early years practitioners to make learning fun and interactive in your working environment.

     18.Are the inserts suitable for speech and language therapy?

Yes — many educators and SLTs use dice with inserts for vocabulary building, articulation practice, storytelling, and turn-taking games.

    19. Do I need any special software to open the files?

No — all files come in PDF format, so you can open and print them using any standard PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat.

    20. How do I print them off?

Printing can be done on whatever device you have downloaded the PDF to so if you have it on a Laptop or PC & it’s connected to a home printer via USB or wireless + If you have a wireless printer you can aslo print directly from your phone or tablet (instructions may vary from device to device)

    21.Can I share my download with others?

No, your purchase is strictly  for personal use only at home or within your working job role.

Our Foam Educational Pocket Dice are shipped however due to current and varying global import taxes and additional individual tariffs at this time, we are currently only able to ship to UK, however we are hoping to expand this to Europe and further afield in the near future.

   27. How long does shipping take for the Dice?

Although we ourselves are based in the UK, our Dice products are shipped directly to your door by a 3^rd party overseas partner via tracked courier services.
